Terms of Service

Article 1 (Overview of the Service)

Oyado Pro (the "Service") is a direct booking management system for accommodation facilities, provided by Veda LLC (合同会社Veda). It provides accommodation facilities (each a "Facility") with a system for accepting bookings directly from guests (each a "User").

Article 2 (Conditions of Use)

1. Users shall use the Service after agreeing to these Terms.
2. Bookings based on false information and use for improper purposes are prohibited.
3. To use the Service, Users must provide accurate information, such as their name and contact details.
4. Impersonating a third party or using another person's information without permission is prohibited.

Article 3 (Bookings and Contracts)

1. A booking made through the Service constitutes an accommodation contract between the Facility and the User.
2. A confirmation email is sent after the booking is confirmed. If you do not receive it, please contact the Facility.
3. Changes to a booking are subject to the conditions set by the Facility.

Article 4 (Payment)

1. Online payments use the payment platforms of Stripe, Square, PayPal and PayPay.
2. Payment information such as card numbers is not stored on the Service's servers and is managed by each payment provider. Accommodation charges are paid directly into the Facility's account; Veda LLC does not receive them.
3. If you choose to pay at the property, you pay at the Facility at check-in.
4. All prices are shown in Japanese yen (tax included).

Article 5 (Cancellation)

1. Each Facility sets its own cancellation policy, which is shown at the time of booking.
2. Cancellation fees are calculated according to the Facility's cancellation policy.
3. Refunds for cancelled bookings that were paid online follow the Facility's procedures.
4. In the case of a no-show, a cancellation fee is charged according to the Facility's policy.

Article 6 (Handling of Data)

Personal information is handled in accordance with the separate Privacy Policy.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

1. The Service is a system for Facilities to accept bookings. Veda LLC is not a party to the accommodation contract and does not provide the accommodation services themselves.
2. Veda LLC bears no responsibility for the content, quality, safety or other aspects of the services provided by the Facility.
3. Veda LLC is not responsible for interruption or suspension of the Service due to communication failures, system failures, natural disasters or the like. However, if caused by the intent or negligence of Veda LLC, the following paragraph applies.
4. Compensation for damages attributable to Veda LLC is limited to the accommodation charge of the booking concerned. This limit does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence by Veda LLC.

Article 8 (Changes to These Terms)

Veda LLC may change these Terms as necessary. When it does, it will announce the changed content and its effective date on this page. For important changes, a reasonable notice period will be provided. If you use the Service after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to it.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Nagoya District Court or the Nagoya Summary Court, depending on the amount in dispute, shall have jurisdiction as the court of first instance for disputes relating to the Service. However, Users may also file a suit with the court having jurisdiction over the User's place of residence.
